2nd Annual Urban Farm Table on the Plaza {6.17.2011}

This year’s four course dinner and reception was held under the stars on the Woodrow Wilson Plaza at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center. The annual Urban Farm Table dinner is a (late) Spring time event that, in collaboration with local chefs, International Wine + Food Festival exhibitors and farmers from Capital Harvest on the Plaza, celebrates talented DC chefs, local farmers, and exceptional wine producers. This year’s participating chefs included Executive Chef Xavier DeShayes of the Ronald Reagan Building & ITC, Jaime Montes de Oca Jr. of Zentan, Amy Brandwein of Casa Nonna, and Todd Gray of Equinox & Watershed Restaurants. Food enthusiasts from all around the DC metropolitan area come to enjoy this late spring dinner affair.

Watershed Grand Opening Party {6.10.2011}

Todd Gray’s Watershed Restaurant celebrated their arrival to the NoMa neighborhood earlier this month with a grand opening party, hosted by the fabulous ladies of Sky Blue Events! The restaurant looks beautiful and it’s the perfect place to go for seafood and cocktails this summer.

Located at the new Hilton Garden Inn in the NoMa neighborhood of DC, Todd + Ellen Gray {of Equinox} introduce their newest restaurant concept – Watershed – which infuses Chef Gray’s modern culinary style with the watersheds of the East Coast. My favorite features of this beautiful, new restaurant are the raw bar – which will have the usual suspects — shrimp, oysters, + crab with the added twist of sashimi, crudo, + beef tartare – and the spacious outdoor patio. This will be THE place to be come summer!
