Get your deep dish pizza fix at this St. Louis based pizzeria, District of Pi, located in Penn Quarter! The owner of Pi, Chris Sommers, created a cornmeal recipe for his pizza crusts which makes them unique and so so delicious! The restaurant itself is also something worth checking out – the interior design is beautiful!! It’s quite possibly the best looking pizzeria I’ve ever seen. I love the high ceilings, hanging light fixtures, salvaged iron staircase, exposed brick walls and the mezzanine overlooking the restaurant, where you can also be seated or reserve for a private party. I don’t blame Obama for having Chris make a special trip out here from St. Louis just to make him and the White House staff some of his amazing pizza. Our President has good taste!
