Tagolio, near Restaurant Row in Crystal City, has been open for about a year now and I am excited to share with you the discovery of this authentic, one-of-a-kind Italian restaurant. I think a good, affordable Italian restaurant is hard to come by, but Tagolio just might be “the one.” The difference? Coal-fired pizza (which is one of the cleanest and most environmentally friendly fossil fuels in the world), fresh burrata (made in-house daily) + homemade cannolis (which are to die for!).
The owner, Gil Fornaris, is very passionate about his restaurant and made us feel very welcome there. I highly recommend this place for when you get your next craving for Italian food!
